Here I am offering seeds from Asclepias purpurascens, also known as Purple Milkweed. A perennial plant with bright purple pink umbrellas that grow 2 to 4 feet tall and proliferate in full sun. A full array of butterflies are the bonus with this plant. These tend to die back here in Georgia. They will come back from the root. Unlike other milkweeds, this one stays in check and does not start shooting up baby plants and spreading all over the place. If you want Monarchs but you want to be able to keep your milkweed in check, this is the plant for you. USDA Hardiness Zones 4 to 9
