Seeds from this Musa sikkimensis Red Flash. A gorgeous ornamental banana with dark red blotches on the top of leaves, the underside of leaves are deep maroon. They are claimed to be hardy in zones 8 to 11 but I have yet to leave mine out in zone 8 during the winter so I am not sure about this.

Seeds from Musa balbisiana "Gigantea"  Or "King Kong" is a new form of Musa balbisiana that is very robust, the stem reaches a height of 16 - 20 feet, this is a very fast growing wild banana. It has gorgeous upright leaves up to 9 feet long and about 2 feet wide. Leaves are green above and a paler green underneath, the midrib is green to yellow-green. Musa balbisiana Gigantea produces huge yellow flowers, followed by large clusters of bananas. Fruit is seeded and inedible. It grows at some altitude so may tolerate cool temps. Grow in full or part sun. Zones 9 - 11.
