Castor Bean Impala Red

Impala Red castor bean seeds. These FRESH seeds are very easy to germinate. This variety is a midsize (6 feet tall) variety with very dark red leaves and stems of dark red. Hardy to zone 9 and above, will lose its leaves in a heavy frost but will come back if the temps do not go down in the low 30s. I just plant these directly in the ground in early April in Georgia and they will reach 6 feet by the end of the summer. All parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested especially the seeds, keep them away from children and pets. Great for keeping the moles away.
