Seeds from this wonderful Dwarf Callistemon subulatus or Tonghi Bottlebrush. A smaller cultivar bearing small green leaves and petite, crimson flower spikes. It may only reach to six or seven feet in height. It has the lemony smelling oil glands present in the olive green, lance-shaped leaves. Spring to summer flowers are crimson colored. Plant in neutral to acid, moderately fertile soil in full sun. This plant is tough and makes and excellent hedge. Regular pruning is not necessary. If pruned,do it immediately after flowering.
