Pinus pinea or Italian Stone Pine

seeds of this Italian Stone pine, famous for it's delicious pine nuts from the Mediterranean. The dome shaped tree is quite easy to grow and has been know to produce these wonderful nuts after just 3 years, although the norm is 6 years. Growning up to 40 feet tall, this pine is hardy in zones 8-11

Pittosporum tenuifolium nigricans

seeds of Pittosporum tenuifolium nigricans, kohukohu, or Black Matipo. It is sometimes grown under the cultivar name 'Nigricans', so called because of its black stems. Used in many floral arrangements. The blossoms are a very dark reddish-purple, and are honey scented only at night. This evergreen tree grows to 30 feet in zones 9-10. seeds Plectranthus ecklonii Groot spoorsalie. This is a soft, erect, fast growing shrub to 8-10 feet tall.  Mass planting of the blue, white and pink cultivars are very striking. This plant is best grown in partial shade. It is recommended for gardens where frost is not too severe. In colder climates it can be grown as a container house plant indoors.
