Sometimes known as Cotton Milkweed because when the flowers fade to seed pods they appear as a ball of cotton upon the tops of the3-4 foot stems. A species from South Africa .The short pointed leaves on long stems have beautiful white veining. Will die back to its roots in freezing temperatures but will return in the spring. Hardy in zones 9 and above. Deer resistant and a real bee and butterfly attractor.
