Aristolochia Seeds
seeds of Aristolochia tomentosa or Wooly pipe vine and is a larval plant for the pipe vine swallowtail butterfly .Growing in part to full shade this twining, high climbing vine often grown to cover sun porches, verandas, pillars, posts, trellises, arbors, fences or walls and is capable of a height of 75 feet in trees. The greenish/yellow with purple blossoms covered with fine matted hairs are in bloom from May through June. Hardy in zone 5-9. Needs to be cold stratified for 90 days for good germination.

seeds of this beautiful Giant Milkweed Tree or Calotripis gigantea. Medium sized to large shrub with light lavender flowers and seeds with a parachute of hairs that grows 8 feet tall and is hardy in zone 10-11. This plant is host to a variety of insects. The butterfly Plain Tigerand Common Crow breeds here; their caterpillars feed on the leaves. The shiny blue bee Xylocopa also visits. Banana Seeds
seeds- of this beautiful and very easy to grow tropical Musa Coccinea or Red Banana. Hardy to zones 7-11 and can be planted outside with lots of mulch and frost protection. Outside it needs to be fertilized with slow release fertilizer and kept in full sun. This fast grower doesn't grow much taller that 5 feet. I have had mine for five years and it hasn't grown more than five feet. It has beautiful pest free foliage and a burgundy midrib running down the leaf. The red flowers are followed by red bananas that are not edible, just beautiful to look at. This is also a very good house plant and one of the few bananas that will blossom inside. This easy to grow plant is very good in containers also.

Bird of Paradise Seeds
seeds - this Strelitzia reginea, This plant grows to 15 feet. The 6 - 8' leaves are grey-green and arranged in fans atop the trunks. Plants form clumps of several variably-sized trunks. The inflorescence are composed of a dark blue bract, white sepals and bluish-purple tongue. The entire bird can be as large as 4 inches high by 10 inches long. Flowers are followed by triangular seed capsules. Full sun to part shade.. Water when dry. Does not like saturated conditions. USDA Zones 9 - 11. Leaf damage occurs at temperatures below 28 F but plant will recover. The seeds need to be soaked for 24 hrs and then sown 1 deep and kept at 68 - 77 degrees with light. These can take anywhere from 8 weeks to 4 months to germinate.

Hibiscus Seeds
seeds- of Hibiscus lasiocarpus also know as Hibiscus californicus or Rose Mallow. Very hard to find perennial that is a California native Hibiscus that boasts magnificent huge cream to white flowers 4-6 across with a dark merlo colored center. The height is approximately 4' tall and 4 feet wide. It blooms in August and September and is hardy in zones 4-10. It does best in loamy soil and moist conditions in light shade to full sun.

Morning Glory Seeds
seeds- of this beautiful Ipomoea Japanese Aomurasakizyouhatensibori Blush Purple morning glory Aomurasakiz Flaked Purple. I have a very limited supply of these as they produced tons of blossoms and very few seeds. These large velvet purple striped blossoms with its light rose centers makes this a very unusual find. These blossoms covered this plant in the spring and fall.

New Zealand Flax Seeds
New Zealand Flax or Phormium cookianum Tricolor. seeds of my beautiful New Zealand Flax or Phormium cookianum Tricolor. This attractive fan-shaped plant has clumps of red-pink-gold-cream sword-like leaves. Useful for mass plantings and textural accents. Evergreen perennial that grows 5 feet tall in full sun and is hardy from 10 to 20 F Needs only an occasional watering after established.
New Zealand Flax Seeds

Other Vine Seeds
seeds of Gloriosa Lily Lutea also know as Climbing Lily or Flame Lily. A very rare find is this golden yellow variety. A vining type plant that will grow up to 5 feet high if you give it something to climb on. Very unusual in that the tips of the leaves actually turn into little tentacles at the ends and twine onto anything that they can. Each plant produces between 3 and 9 blossoms at a time. At least 6 hours of sunshine a day is required to get the best blooms. Fairly drought tolerant and pretty much carefree and pest free when finally established. Hardy to zone 8 and 9, will die back to the ground with extended cold temperatures but will grow right back in the spring. Be patient these sometimes take 6 months to germinate.

Passion Vine Seeds
seeds for one of the most colorful of all passion vines Mollissima. This is a very large striking pink blossom that appears to have a maroon ring with white specks emerging from the center. Also known as the banana passion vine. Hardy in zones 9 and above, this 15' vine has clusters of 3 inch soft pink flowers that bloom from April thru August, it does slow down when the temperatures get in the high 90's. The fragrance is very delicate.

SEEDS-Colville's Glory tree or Colvillea racemosa, Whip tree from Madagascar. It's a rare flowering tropical tree difficult to find and cultivate. It's conservation status is 'Near Threatened'. This is a beautiful, large tree from Madagascar with large pinnate leaves and very distinct cone shaped 12" clusters of hanging bright orange flowers that are bright red in bud. It is a sight to behold when it shows off its fiery blooms. Its grape-like clusters of velvety buds range from chameleon green to blood orange. Growing to 25' in zones 10-11.

seeds of Tacca chantrieri or BLACK BAT PLANT. This tropical greenhouse perennial plant has black flowers with 12 inch long whiskers and grows 2-4 feet tall, in full or part shade. A little tricky to germinate, directions come with seeds. USDA Hardiness Zones 8 to 11. These plants grow in the shade and prefer lots of humidity.
