Passiflora Edulis Flavicarpa This is a vine that produces delicious yellow passion fruits. Although beautiful, most of the time it is grown for the fruit that is exceptionally sweet. This vine produced 15 to 20 of these beautiful blossoms during this past summer. The vine grew to about 30' and was pretty much pest free. The caterpillars didn't seem to want to eat this one as much as some of my others. This vine is foliage hardy in zones 9 and higher, I keep mine in a 14 pot and protect it in the winter months
Fledermouse Passiflora Fledermouse is one of my very favorite violet-reds. Growing up to 10 feet. Blossoms compliment the bilobed leaves with their little spots. This plant grows 10'-12' and is very nice hanging on a trellis. Hardy to zones 9-11, this plant likes at least 6 hours of early day sunshine
Flying V Passiflora Flying V is root hardy to zone 8. The pendulum flowers have rosy-pink petals and tiny white and orange filaments. This vine produced loads of these beautiful dark pink dangling blossoms during the summer. It gives off a very faint perfumed scent that fills the yard when in full bloom. The vine grew to about 10' and was pretty much pest free. Grow in full sun for a profusion for blossoms.
