Passiflora Maliformis. This plant grows 10 to 15 feet and is root hardy in zones 8 and higher. It likes full sunshine and a mild dose of potash in the early spring. The flowers on this plant are about 3 inches across and have large lavender petals with purple and blue filaments, fruit grows to 3 inches and is very sweet

Mollissima is one of the most colorful of all passion vines. This is a very large striking pink blossom that appears to have a maroon ring with white specks emerging from the center. Also known as the banana passion vine. Hardy in zones 9 and above, this 15' vine has clusters of 3 inch soft pink flowers that bloom from April thru August, it does slow down when the temperatures get in the high 90's.
