Passiflora Adularia

Passiflora Adularia is one of the more unusual colors in passion vines. This particular variety has the all green hoof shaped leaves, as some are slightly variegated, this is all green. The 10ft vine has clusters of peachy yellow flowers that do seem to blossom most of the summer, although it does slow down when the temperatures get in the high 90s. The fragrance is very delicate. This plant is very vigorous and grows quickly to cover and arbor in a few weeks and therefore is a desirable plant for quick coverage. Hardy in zones 8 and above and winters well in a cool garage or basement area with some sunlight.

Passiflora Alata Passiflora Alata. This plant grows 30 to 35 feet and is root hardy in zones 8 and higher. It likes full sunshine and a mild dose of potash in the early spring. The flowers on this plant are about 3 inches across and have large maroon petals with purple and blue filaments. This vine produced many of these beautiful blossoms during this past summer followed by large fruits about 2 inches across

The delicate white flower are a very nice compliment to these always pretty leaves. This plant is hardy in zones 9 and above, but here in zone 8B I have had mine come back for the past four years
