Ligularia Passiflora Ligularis. This zone 8 and above plant grows 20 to 25 feet. It likes full sunshine and a mild dose of potash in the early spring. The flowers are about 3 inches across with large dark lavender petals with dark lavender and white filaments. This vine produced large fruits about 1 inch across. Lilac Lady or Violacea Passiflora Lilac Lady or Violacea in a beautiful very unusual deep lilac petals, bright white filaments and an almost black purple center . This vigorous vine produced many of these beautiful blossoms during this past summer. The vine grew to about 20' and was pretty much pest free. The caterpillars didn't seem to want to eat this one as much as some of my others. This vines is foliage hardy in zones 8 and higher, although it will come back from the roots when the weather warms up if damaged by hard frosts

This vigorous vine produced many of these blossoms during this past summer. The vine grew to about 10 feet and was pretty much pest free. The caterpillars did not seem to want to eat this one as much as some of my others. This vines is foliage hardy in zones 8 and higher, although it will come back from the roots when the weather warms up if damaged by hard frosts.
