Canna Lily Florence Vaughn

 a two year old root or crom of this  unusual hard to find Heirloom Canna Florence Vaughan developed in the victorian era and  popular for that time. Also know as Yellow King Humbert or Mme. Crozy. This is one of the best showy speckled yellows and orange of all the cannas. The leaves are a  soft green and grow to about 5 to 6 feet tall. This extremely hardy variety produces these yellow blossoms all summer as long as you keep them watered. I have had these in my garden for five years and have yet to find a leaf roller on one of them, hardy in zones 8-11.

Here I am offering a Gallon Plant of one of my favorite very unusual and hard to find plants. Canna pink stripe is one of the most showy of all the cannas, and to see it in person you realize how striking it is. The leaves are a rainbow of bright colored stripes. Red, purple, gold, pink and dark blackish green streaks make these leaves so decorative that they cannot be ignored. The flowers are produced all summer as long if you keep them watered. This plant requires lots of water and is perfect for backyard ponds. Canna Lily pink stripe will die back to the ground with extended freezing temperatures but will grow right back in the spring. I have had good luck with both planting them in the ground and in containers here in my zone 8b area. USDA Hardiness Zones 7 to 11
