Marmalade Bush
Streptosolen jamesonii

Marmalade Bush or Streptosolen jamesonii | Mature Plant in a half gallon pot. This is no normal Shrub. It may be the most brilliant bush that you can find anywhere. Bursts of red, yellow, peach, and gold flowers blanket this shrub and reminds me of pictures of the universe and the swirls of stars. Marmalade Bush or Streptosolen jamesonii is an evergreen shrub of the Solanaceae family. The loose clusters of flowers start out yellow and then change to gold to peach to red. The height of this shrub is up to 6 feet tall with slender tall stems.The leaves differ in shape from ovate to elliptic, and they differ in color from green to dark green. They show a pattern of tiny ripples. In most areas this shrub blossoms from Spring through Fall, but in areas where the winter does not fall below 45F or 7C it will blossom most of the year. This shrub needs to be overwintered in frost prone areas. USDA Hardiness Zones 9b to 11

Medinilla cummingii Gallon

Meyers Lemon fruit tree

Starter plant of this Meyers Lemon tree. The fruit is yellow and rounder than a true lemon. The skin is fragrant and thin, colored a deep yellow with a slight orange tint when ripe. Meyer lemon fruits have a sweeter, less acidic flavor than the more common lemon Lisbon or Eureka grocery store varieties.  Meyer lemon trees are around 6 to 10 feet tall at maturity, though they can be pruned smaller. Their leaves are dark green and shiny. The flowers are white with a purple base and fragrant. They can be maintained at 3 to 5 feet tall and if you have the knack, lemon trees make wonderful Bonsai specimens Lemon trees thrive in a normal temperature range of 70 degrees during day to 55 degrees at night.  Hardy in zones 8-10.

Mimosa Pink tree Albizia julibrissin

Starter plant of this Mimosa Pink Tree, Persian Silk Tree, Albizia julibrissin. Mimosa is a deciduous, small to medium-sized tree that can grow 10-20 feet tall. Hardy in zones 6-10. The bark is light brown and smooth while young stems are lime green in color, turning light brown and covered with lenticels. Leaves are alternately arranged and bipinnately compound (6 to 20 inches long), having 20 to 60 leaflets per branch. The leaf arrangement gives mimosa a fern-like or feathery appearance. Mimosa flowering occurs from May through July. Pom-pomesque flowers are borne in terminal clusters at the base of the current year's twigs. The flowers are fragrant and pink in color, about 1? inches long.
