Strelitzia reginae Aiton Mandelas Gold Pint Plant


These ship in APRIL Pint plant of Strelitzia reginae Aiton Mandelas Gold, Yellow Bird of Paradise or Yellow Crane flower. This second year seedling is quite different than the others as it has a gold crown on the head and is perched upon a stalk that has no significant leaves. Growing up to 6 feet tall, and hardy to 20 to 25 degrees or zone 9 and above. Ideal conditions are full sun, rich, well drained loam soil with a pH of approximately 7. 5, regular deep watering in summer and liberal applications of fertilizer in early summer.
