Here I am offering a Starter Plant of Thunbergia alata Lemon Star, also known as Lemon A Peel, and Black Eyed Susan vine. This beautiful flower has a lovely clear sunny yellow color with a black center. This plant is a huge hit with the birds, bees, and butterflies. Growing up to 8 feet long, this tender perennial shows off its bright striking colors all summer long. A perfect choice for your hanging baskets with plenty of sun. USDA Hardiness Zones 9 to 10



Thunbergia Pure White Susie

plant - Pure White Black Eyed Susie Vine. This tender perennial grows very rapidly covering a trellis easily in a couple of months and are very easy to let just wander.This is one of my rarest Black Eyed Susans, although it has no black eye. These blossoms cover this plant from mid summer until late fall and always seem to have some flowers in blossom. These will self sow as would many annuals and in the spring you will have as many as you would like and lots to share with your gardening friends.  I have mine growing mine in my greenhouse and  I have had it in bloom for two seasons now.

This very unusual Thunbergia is very hard to find. All white without the black eye, it is very useful for the hanging basket corner that needs brightening up. This tender perennial grows up to 3 feet and will winter over in zones 9 and above.



Thunbergia Variegated Blue Sky vine

Thumbergia grandiflora var. Variegated Blue Sky vine. This is truly a vine collectors must have. The soft holly shaped leaves are deeply margined with creamy white. The large (2 inch) blossom is a bit softer blue than some of the normal clock vines. Growing to 15 feet, it is certainly going to be the speciman plant of the garden.  Hardy in zones 8a-11, and is root hardy to 20 degrees, but will freeze back at 25 degrees. Requirements are sun to part shade and do not like to have its roots standing in water.
